Esperienza negativa: The yoga classes are good and the teachers very kind! However, I cannot recommend the teacher trainings at all. I did the basic training with them (which should be and was advertized as 250 hrs) but was far away from 200 hours! We usually didn’t do anything else but following the classes that were scheduled for that day anyway and then went through the (one and only!) sequence we learnt. Written course material was scarce and often incorrect (in language and content). The history and philosophy of yoga, different styles of yoga, meditations and breathing exercises and how to guide them, anatomy or how to prepare a class weren’t really included in the course either which means that the TTC doesn’t even meet international standards or the ones of a Yoga Alliance certificate (even if they pretend it does). Really not worth the high amount of money they ask! I decided to do another training and the difference was enormous... Unfortunately cannot recommend!

Esperienza fantastica: I'm pretty new to yoga, and have taken about 30 classes over 10 years in the USA until I came to Italia Power Yoga. I had a health issue since the beginning of 2021 and got the 1month unlimited package in October. I went about 4 times per week - the instructors were SO nice! They were very thorough in explaining a bunch of stuff to me that I had never learned in the 30 classes prior to coming here. My health issue has subsided a LOT since starting here and I finally feel like I understand what the heck yoga even is! I'm taking my daily practice back to the USA and hoping to find instructors here that are as good as Italia Power Yoga. They teach in both English and Italian, 95% of the classes I went to were in English. I wish I had found them sooner. Ciao and thank you to the instructors! You were all wonderful :)

Esperienza negativa: VERY UNFRIENDLY AND INTOLERANT

Esperienza fantastica: I have been attending Italia Power Yoga school since February '19 and from the first moment I found a very welcoming energy. The teachers are special and kind souls, with great international experience in yoga. They offer classes and workshops for all levels. The style is mainly vinyasa power yoga but there are many other options for every taste and need. They are also very open to share (proper yoga spirit!) and often invite visiting teachers for workshops or for a different experience. All this variety makes the school the perfect place to improve your practice and learn more about yoga and meditation. Classes are in English and Italian since it is quite an international community. I am very glad I found such an amazing studio right in the centre of Florence!!! Highly recommended :)

Esperienza fantastica: The studio is really welcoming and the staff is professional. I highly recommend this studio even if you are in Florence for a vacation or for your daily practice. You will find special workshops and guest teachers from all over the world.

Esperienza fantastica: A beautiful studio in Santo Spirito, amazing teachers and a great timetable that offers different types of Yoga classes all day. It's in a great location, a lovely studio full of light and next to a lovely little American coffee shop with a nice outdoor garden.

Esperienza fantastica: Amazing place with a really nice garden and a lot of different teachers, everyone with their own style. They offer a lot of different packages (monthly too) and student discounts!

Esperienza fantastica: An amazing place to get zen, get fit and get connected not only with yourself but with everyone. i stayed in florance for 3 months , they ofered me a free week of yoga with absoulutly no card, they have classes all day long , dance on the weekends , 3 diffrent types of youga during the week and are allways full with workshops of all kind and events ( art, mercatino dell usato , etc ). was truly amazing , nothing compared. did i mention their prices are great, and that they have a privte garden where we can also do yoga ? located in the santo spirito next to an american bakery . go get your free week of yoga

Esperienza fantastica: Italia Power Yoga is a wonderful yoga studio in the heart of Santo Spirito. The studio is open, airy, and tranquil. Italia Power Yoga also displays work of local artists creating a soothing yet stimulating space. The schedule is accommodating to all as the studio offers morning, lunchtime, and evening classes. Mats are available to rent. Italia Power Yoga also offers discounts to students.

Esperienza negativa: AVOID STOLEN MONEY Fraudulently kept 590 euros of my money and I am also out of pocket for a further 500 euros of travel expenses. *AVOID* Back in October 2015 Europa Power Yoga were advertising an autumn retreat in Tuscany for 3 days and after liaising for some time around the arrangements and specifics with the ‘CEO & Founder’ Gabriella Estrada I paid 590 euros to Europa power yoga for an en-suite room at their retreat in Poppi and set about making the travel arrangements from the UK. I booked flights, transfers, airport parking and arranged childcare for my young baby ( the trip was due to be a wonderful experience for me after a tough first year as a mother where both myself and my son were in and out of hospital with various illnesses ). With less than 24 hours notice I received an e mail from Gabi telling me that the accommodation in Tuscany had fallen through, due to lack of numbers ( something she must have been aware of for some considerable amount of time ) and that she would be in contact at 8pm that evening with alternative accommodation and arrangement details. You can imagine my upset and alarm ! I then received a quickly pulled together itinerary of random yoga classes just for myself, based out of the Europa studio in Florence NOT Poppi in the Tuscan countryside as described. The accommodation was just confirmed as ‘an apartment’ not specified as to which one ( so there was no way to check trip advisor ) and I was also advised that I would need to move to alternative accommodation for the second and third nights – again not specified. There was no mention of any other attendees in the itinerary and it was clear she had just generated a program that fit around her usual yoga classes. No community of people as advertised just me on a city based trip rather than the countryside – not what I paid for and not what I wanted as an experience. I was clear from the start that I wanted a full refund and was really upset that I had a load of travel expenses I had committed to and with less than 20 hours notice at this stage had no way of cancelling them, rearranging them or getting my money back. Gabi then sent me a note to tell me the retreat had been refunded in full – this was 3 months ago and I am still to receive a penny from Europa Power Yoga! Gabi has consistently lied to me about sending the money across to my account or that it has been delayed somehow and I have continuous given her the benefit of the doubt – it would appear foolishly. Gabi has told me on numerous occasions that she will return the retreat money and contribute 100 euros towards my travel expenses but I am yet to receive a penny. Gabi had also intermittently ignored my e mails and communication – I think hoping that I will simply give up. It is clear she has kept my money, spent it and has no serious intention of returning it I have had to resort now to legal action through my credit card company in the hope of getting some of my money back. I have not taken the decision to write this review lightly. I have given Europa 3 months to return what is legally my money but I can’t sit by and let another person expose themselves to theft by this company in the way I did so I feel I have to share my story and warn others not to pay Europa Power Yoga for anything in advance and from a moral standpoint I would suggest avoiding their services altogether !!
