Esperienza fantastica: We bought an unlimited pass for a few weeks while we were in Florence and we loved it! Tess and Guido are both so warm and amazing teachers. I was able to try so many new poses and succeeded in a few of them after a few classes. I highly recommend Yoga Garage! Next time we're in Florence, we'll definitely return.

Esperienza fantastica: What an amazing jewel of a yoga studio, located right in the historic heart of downtown Florence. Situated in an old church, with soaring ceilings and lots of natural light, the spiritualness of doing yoga in such a setting is unforgettable. Some yoga places have style, and some have substance. But Yoga Garage excels in both, with a great setting and experienced yoga teaching (in English). Our class on a Saturday at 6pm had 9 students, a mix of Italians, Europeans and two Americans (us). We're headed back there again today!

All levels can take the classes; they teach the class in a way that you can take your yoga practice to the level that you want. Finally we have an amazing yoga studio in Lucca!

Esperienza fantastica: This is the most wonderful yoga studio. I am in Florence for one month and I have been attending class everyday. The teachers are excellent and very friendly. The yoga is challenging but exactly what I needed. They also teach the class in English and Italian, which has been a lovely opportunity to learn a few more words! I’ve also loved meeting a gorgeous Chihuahua who frequents the studio! I couldn’t recommend this highly enough.

Esperienza fantastica: I spent the month in Florence with my family and bought a membership. Absolutely wonderful studio and teachers, greatly improved my Italian and my inversion practices . I loved it!

Esperienza fantastica: The studio is lovely with the glass ceilings, so in savasana you get a great view of the beautiful sky. I took classes with three different teachers (Tess, Francesca and Novella) and all three were hands on and helpful. I had the friendliest interactions with Tess and Francesca, they had great attitudes. The studio owner quickly responded to my email when I first signed up to answer my question. The pace of the teaching was appropriate for me at my level. Heads up for beginners: the teachers do not verbally break down the poses into detailed steps when teaching . So if you are a first timer you will find the classes challenging. Classes were taught in English and Italian.

Esperienza fantastica: For me and my practice, this is the best vinyasa studio in Florence. Yes they push you, yes you sweat, yes you progress, and you get to relax at the end. Every class has a classical vinyasa "planning" (pranayama, sun salutations, flow, inversion...) but each of the teacher brings his/her specific style. Also they propose workshops that make you learn so much. Every time I walked out of the studio I felt high, strong, and proud. Oh and oftenly there's a tiny cute dog to pet before and after class

Esperienza fantastica: Amazing yoga studio. I stayed in Florence for 3 months and almost chose another studio and I’m so grateful I didn’t. The classes are both challenging and refreshing. Taught in both Italian and English. All the teachers are wonderful and my favorites are Tess, Francesca, and Bernardo. I highly recommend a visit as the prices are very reasonable as well.

Esperienza fantastica: This is hands down the best yoga studio I have ever gotten a membership at. Not only do they speak in English and Italian, but the ambience within the studio is immaculate. It is very clean and there are mats to rent that go along with a membership or a regular drop in. I have only had a membership there for one month and I have never been this flexible. The instructors are amazing and they are always there to help you and push you.

Esperienza fantastica: E' il miglior posto in cui praticare yoga di tutta Firenze e forse anche di tutta la nazione. Gli insegnanti sono tutti bravissimi e simpatici. Riescono a farti prendere subito una forte passione per lo Yoga. Una cosa che ho molto apprezzato ed anche diversa da tanti altri studi di Yoga, qua le lezioni sono sempre sullo stesso stile, sia che sia fatta da un'insegnante od un'altro, la mattina presto od alla sera. Quindi è più semplice riuscire a seguire le classi preferite durante la settimana, perchè ci sono sempre! Ho anche fatto con loro il corso per diventare insegnate di 200h full immersion ed è stata un'esperienza indimenticabile! Tanta pratica, tanta teoria e divertimento assicurato con Guido, Tess e Josh!

Esperienza fantastica: Staff is so friendly and welcoming especially for those who don’t speak Italian. I’ve taken two vinyasa classes which were bilingually taught and at a great price. Throughout the class they help you in your poses and making the adjustments needed to get the most out of your practice. I definitely recommend taking a class if you have an hour to spare in Florence and the location is so central!

Esperienza fantastica: In Florence for 4 days, it was raining today so I looked at reviews for local yoga class and found Yoga Garage only 6 mins away from our air B and B . Guido’s class was fun and challenging in such a beautiful room. I’ve booked again for Tess’s class on Saturday even if the sun is out! Would def recommend this yoga studio, they provide mats and you’ll feel better for going after over indulging with all the wonderful Italian food.

Esperienza fantastica: I've had a wonderful time here with Aska, Tess and Guido. They're great teachers and have a great crop of students. Classes were challenging but fun, engaging and they have been etremely helpful with difficult positions. I feel I've enhanced my practice a lot in my time there. I've been there for 16 days straight over the Christmas holidays, as I do not live in Florence. Hence the past tense! Otherwise, it'd be present and future for sure :) But I'll be back when I'm in Florence again!

Esperienza fantastica: This is a great english/italian class for beginners and advanced students. The instructor speaks evenly in both languages and makes sure to assist beginners into harder postures, but she also gives advanced students pleanty of freedom to try more difficult interpritations of the asanas.

Esperienza fantastica: In Firenze for the day and realized that Yoga Garage was between the train station and the Duomo! So after seeing many sights during the day, I ended my visit with a great 6:45pm vinyasa class taught by Aska in the beautiful space they have, followed by an aperitivo and a short walk back to the train station! I would repeat this wonderful experience anytime!!

Esperienza fantastica: My wife and I went to a class on our honeymoon and had a wonderful experience. We are both novice (to use the term generously, it was my 3rd class ever) yogis but wanted to get some exercise in between all the sight seeing in Florence. Guido lead the course masterfully, accommodating all levels of skill/experience while emphasizing proper form and breathing throughout. It was definitely challenging, but I left feeling amazing. So much so that I went back for another class two days later! In short, I would highly recommend Yoga Garage for travelers visiting Florence as a perfect recess from the delicious food and beautiful sites.

Tess and Guido are gifted teachers, striking the perfect balance between nurturing and challenging their students. The studio itself is gorgeous and extremely clean and well-cared for. Located in the heart of Piazza San Lorenzo, it's the perfect place to find solace and connect with your practice. I came for the class and stayed for their aperitif gathering afterward (they hold one every month - it's the perfect way to meet fellow yogis and tap into the yoga community). This studio is truly a special place and you won't want to miss the experience of practicing here.

Esperienza fantastica: Rewarding and restorative class! After a few weeks of traveling and a few days of exploring in Florence, the class led by Guido was an amazing experience. I felt challenged by the vinyasa and also by the instructor, but also felt confident despite being out of practice for a few weeks due to traveling. The vibe in the class was welcoming among the locals, which was an added bonus for me as a tourist. Yoga garage offers truly great yoga instruction and practice, highly recommend to all!!
