Esperienza fantastica: Travel a lot, hard to find good gyms with plenty of equipment in some of the smaller towns/cities in Italy. Had everything I needed and the owner was very pleasant. Will return next time I’m in Matera.

Esperienza fantastica: I stopped in this morning for a full body workout after hiking and walking around Matera for three days. Mario greeted me with a kind welcome and offered to assist in any way needed. It was busy but not crowded as slot of people seemed to be working on new programs or getting tips from Mario! Thanks again for a hospitable time. If you’re travelling and need a place to lift or cardio don’t feel scared to stop in…..ciao!!

Esperienza fantastica: Great gym! The hours are very accommodating; I've never seen it too busy. Lots of equipment for any type of exercise you prefer - free weights, machines, cardio, mats and kettlebells. Spacious locker rooms and facilities. Can't recommend enough!

Esperienza fantastica: Super super friendly owner of this place. Just in town for 1 day and came here. Great, 'old school' gym. Every machine you could want really. Would definitely recommend it. 10€ for two of us to train, i only had 9.70€ in cash (need to pay in cash) and he let us in. Then he gave me a euro back to use the shower! (50cents for 3 mins). A really great experience basically.

Esperienza fantastica: Start here. There are other gyms listed in the city, even though this is further away from the tourist center; this is the place to come. Friendly, welcoming, English speaking.

Esperienza fantastica: This gym is quite nice and well maintained. The staff is very welcoming. My biggest concern was that I couldn't speak Italian but fortunately they spoke English as well so, I was at ease. I truly enjoying going to this gym.

Esperienza fantastica: I'm one of those people who need to still workout on their vacation. So, I was glad to find Gold's Gym Kokka during my stay in Matera with my boyfriend and my sister. It was a short walk from the Sassi, and even though we don't speak much Italian, the staff and other members were so welcoming and helpful. Thank you for sharing your gym with us crazy New Yorkers--we loved it!

Esperienza fantastica: Amazing old-school gym in a good location in Matera. There's a cardio room, a stretching room, and a large free weights area with various machines. We were there as tourists. The current daily price was 10 euros per person. The only drawback is perhaps that the machines are very close together.

Esperienza fantastica: qui mi alleno. è un posto serio, dove si solleva la ghisa e le persone non vanno per fare gli idioti con il sesso opposto e questo è il motivo per cui ho scelto la palestra di Mario. l'atmosfera è simpatica. nota dolens: LA MUSICA! però va detto che sono io quello che ha dei gusti musicali particolari. ---------------- here i train myself. it's a serious place, for people who want just to pump iron and whose aim is not being jerks with the opposite sex: that's why i choose the Mario's gym. the atmosphere is pleasant. sore point: THE MUSIC! anyway it's a personal matter, because my music taste is quite peculiar. -------------- ich treiniere mich hier. es handelt sich um einem ernsthaftem platz für leute, die wollen sich einfach teinieren, ohne idiot zu werden mit dem anderen geschlecht. aus diesen grund, habe ich mich beim Marios gym gemeldet. auch die atmosphäre ist schon. kritik: DIE MUSIK!!! jedenfalls es hängt von mir ab, weil mein muiskgeschmack besonder ist.
